Vitalik’s most recent blog centers on ETH enshrinement. Enshrining here means adding more things into ETH’s core. So the argument is on either keeping things simple or keep adding more and more. So Vitalik considers changes to Liquid Staking to reduce centralization. Debating on adding certain protocols to ETH’s core or keeping it minimalistic or "at the top" of the chain, these are: account abstraction, ZK-EVM, private mempools, code precompilations, and liquid staking.
